Kelli is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who brings a collaborative, person-centered approach to Trisha Johnson Therapy Group. With a background in both school counseling and clinical settings, she draws on solution-focused techniques and behavioral interventions to help clients identify goals, overcome challenges, and build resilience.
Before joining Trisha Johnson Therapy Group, Kelli served as a school counselor, where she developed and led counseling programs, facilitated crisis interventions, and introduced initiatives through needs assessments and multi-tiered support systems. Throughout her career, Kelli has cultivated strong partnerships with community organizations to expand access to resources and support for her clients.
Kelli earned her Master of Arts in School Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University, where she also received a certification in Couple & Family Counseling. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Illinois State University and maintains multiple licenses and certifications, including her Professional Educator License (PEL) and NCC (National Certified Counselor).
Guided by empathy and collaboration, Kelli aims to create a supportive therapeutic environment. She welcomes clients of all backgrounds and tailors her approach to each individual’s unique needs, fostering personal growth and helping them thrive in their everyday lives, while accomplishing their therapeutic goals.
