Roxana is a Therapist at Trisha Johnson Therapy Group with a deep passion for supporting youth and adolescent populations. She has extensive experience in individual therapy and working with diverse clients to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Roxana was most recently a Child and Adolescent Therapist at the Association for Individual Development (AID), where she has provided therapy since 2021. She uses a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to treat mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.
Roxana excels in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that are tailored to each client’s unique needs. She works collaboratively with families, school social workers, psychiatrists, and other professionals to provide holistic care that empowers her clients.
Roxana holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. In addition to her clinical experience, she has supported early childhood development through internships at All Stars Project of Chicago and Chicago Commons, where she empowered young children and adolescents to build confidence and meet developmental goals.
Fluent in Polish, she brings cultural sensitivity and a collaborative approach to all her therapeutic work, ensuring her clients feel supported in their journey to wellness.
Outside of therapy, Roxana enjoys spending time with family, reading, and exploring creative outlets.
