Therapist Job Summary
The primary role of this position is to provide initial evaluations and ongoing individual, group, couples and/or family therapy sessions for clients of Trisha Johnson Therapy Group, LLC. Therapists will also perform basic office functions related to the scheduling, record keeping, and care of their clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing initial evaluations and ongoing individual, group, couples and/or family therapy sessions for clients
Scheduling of clients, including new referrals seeking their initial evaluation appointment
Writing progress notes the same day services are performed
Attending weekly supervision meetings with Clinical Director
Communicating DCFS, self-harm, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, and/or recommendations to a higher level of care to Clinical Director
Other tasks related to the billable hour
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
Master’s degree from an accredited university
One or more of the following: MSW, LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, Psy. D
Minimum 3 years experience working in the field as a counselor, therapist, social worker, or another similar role as a mental health professional
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail) as well as the ability to learn and master new software programs such as Theranest
Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, presentation, and resolution skills
Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community
Flexibility with changing priorities; ability to organize and prioritize a shifting workload

Clinical Manager Job Summary
The primary roles of this position is to provide a combination of supervision to provisionally licensed therapists and to provide initial evaluations and ongoing individual, group, couples and/or family therapy sessions for clients of Trisha Johnson Therapy Group, LLC. The clinical manager will also perform basic office functions related to the scheduling, record keeping, and billing of all clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing group and individual supervision to provisionally licensed therapists on a weekly basis
Provide guidance and mentorship to provisionally licensed staff to help them build their clinical skills and navigate any challenges related to their caseloads
Collaborate with the Clinical Director and other members of the leadership team to foster a positive working environment
Other tasks related to the supervision of provisionally licensed therapists
Provide initial evaluations and ongoing individual, group, couples and/or family therapy sessions
Scheduling of clients, including new referrals seeking their initial evaluation appointment
Writing progress notes the same day services are performed
Communicating DCFS, self-harm, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, and/or recommendations to a higher level of care to Clinical Director
Other tasks related to the billable hour

Qualifications & Requirements:

Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois
Minimum 3 years experience working in the field as a counselor, therapist, social worker, or another similar role as a mental health professional
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a clinical supervisory role, preferably in a private practice setting
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail) as well as the ability to learn and master new software programs such as Theranest
Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, presentation, and resolution skills
Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community
